ABRAHAM MUNN COLLECTION (MISC. MANUSCRIPTS) 1885-1909

Abraham Munn was one of the founders of Lakeland, and he gave to the city the land for the park in the downtown area which bears his name. This collection consists of a reel of microfilm purchased from the Pilson Club Historical Society of Louisville, Kentucky and photocopies of letters written to Munn between 1885 and 1888 by John H. Heywood, a clergyman and personal friend.

The microfilm reel contains records relating to Munn's Lakeland Improvement Company, a real estate and development company.
