This series contains photographs of many historic buildings of Lakeland, some of which no longer exist. Included are the Bowyer Building, the Clonts Building, the Coca Cola Building, the Franklin Hotel, the Lake Mirror Civic Center, the Lake, Palace, and Polk Theaters, the club houses of the Lakeland and Lakeland Highlands Country Clubs, the Lakeland Yacht Club, the Morrell Hospital, the Park Trammell Building, the first railroad depot in Lakeland, the Sorosis Club, the Hotel Thelma, the Tremont Hotel, and private residences in Cleveland Heights and Lakeland Highlands. Pictured above is the Clonts Building, @1903.
The photographs are arranged alphabetically by the name of the building and chronologically within folders.
