Technology Services As of June 25, 2009 a library card and PIN number is required to use the adult and teen Public Access Computers.
Guest passes for non-residents are available at no charge.
Public access computer users are allowed to sign up for a maximum of ONE HOUR per day.
Computer Classes - November 2009
The FREE classes listed start at 2pm and last until 3:45pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes are held in the Meeting Room and taught on laptop computers using the Microsoft Vista operating system and Microsoft Office 2007.

The Main Library is a Wireless Hotspot Location
The Lakeland Public Library offers free access to computer terminals, complete with internet access, word processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint and database programs.

Computer Usage at Larry R. Jackson Branch All computers are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons may sign up for up to an hour at a time and for a total of one hour a day.

elibrary South Lakeland
The elibrary offers 15 public access internet stations with Vista operating system and Microsoft Office products.
Computer Catalogs Computers are available at each location to search the library's catalog. Staff can also provide assistance.
Computer Tutoring Computer tutoring is available for those that want to know more about word processing, finding information or browsing the internet, e-mail, spreadsheet, creating web pages or searching the catalog. Tutoring sessions are usually one hour in length, for a total of one hour per patron per week. Patrons can set up an appointment by calling 834-4273 to get the computer desk. Questions about the computers can also be sent by e-mail to David Gonzalez.
