LAKELAND, FL (February 25, 2019) - Motorists in Lakeland traveling on North Florida Avenue (US 98 North) will soon see signs of progress on the intelligent rail bypass system project. This electronic messaging system was requested as part of the Polk Rail Study in 2014. Contractors are in the infrastructure phases of construction now with the electronic signs targeted for operation and testing by mid-March.
