FATAL HIT-AND-RUN CRASH INVOLVING A PEDESTRIAN

LAKELAND, FL (February 26, 2023) - On Saturday, February 25, 2023, at approximately 11:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of West 10th Street for a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, they located an unresponsive female lying in the roadway. Despite the efforts of first responders, the 37-year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene.
