Lakeland Linder International Airport Public Meeting - New Aircraft Arrival and Departure Procedures November 16, 2023 - City News Blog


LAKELAND, FL (October 17, 2023) | Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) is currently working on the development of two new aircraft departure procedures for Runway 10 and two new aircraft arrival procedures for Runway 28. 

The City of Lakeland has retained the services of Hughes Aerospace Corporation in assisting with the development of the new procedures. These procedures have been under development since December 2021 and are approaching publication for use once approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The City of Lakeland invites you to attend a public meeting on the new procedures that will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Lakeland Linder International Airport terminal building, located at 3900 Don Emerson Drive Lakeland, FL 33811.

Please stop by during this time to learn more about the planning process, review the proposed procedures, and speak with the airport staff and consultants. Participants will have the ability to register comments regarding the proposed procedures via comment card at the public meeting or email to lakelandairport@lakelandgov.net.
