LPD records requests will be processed in accordance with the Florida Public Records Act. A fee will be charged for copies of all reports or information requested. Records Request Fee Schedule
Criminal History Requests
All arrest information is maintained by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). If you wish to get a copy of a person's criminal history, you must contact FDLE and request this service. FDLE may be contacted via the web at www.fdle.state.fl.us.
The FDLE website explains how to obtain a criminal history on a person and the cost for each criminal history requested.
Traffic Crash Report Information
Traffic crash accident reports may be requested within 60 days of the accident. You must complete the attached sworn statement document and have it notarized prior to receiving the report. SWORN STATEMENT CRASH REPORT.docx
Warrant, Arrest, Jail Inmate Information
Requests for records maintained by the Polk County Sheriff's Office such as PCSO arrests, warrants, or jail inmate information should be directed to that agency. The PCSO web site is: www.polksheriff.org.
