Welcome to the Community Services Unit of the Lakeland Police Department. CSU is responsible for providing crime prevention programs to community groups and other special programs such as Neighborhood Watch and Elderly Services.

Whether you are looking for crime prevention tips or crime prevention programs for your neighborhood association or civic group, the Community Services Unit is here to meet your needs. The Unit is staffed by a crime prevention officer, four civilian crime prevention practitioners, four part-time Neighborhood Watch coordinators, and a sergeant supervisor.
We offer a wide range of community based crime prevention programs that can be tailored to meet the needs of your group. Our diverse offering of crime prevention programs includes topics suitable for elementary school children, young adults, senior citizens, or neighborhood associations.
