Rain Barrels

Water is critical in many of our areas.  Rain BarrelHarvesting rainwater has many benefits:

  • Lower your water bill
  • Preserve your well water supply
  • Use water on your own schedule
  • Improve your soil's PH balance
  • Reduce stormwater runoff
  • Reduce erosion and flooding
  • Relieve sewer demand
  • Help protect rivers, streams, lakes and the environment

Rainwater is naturally soft, and contains minerals lawns and plants need.  Rain barrel workshops are free and rain barrels are available for purchase at workshops.

Contact Cindy Hill or Anne Yasalonis with Florida Yards & Neighborhoods at (863) 519-8677 ext. 121 regarding registering
