Great work by Southwest Middle School students planting shrubs and grasses along Lake Somerset's shoreline!
Great work at Lawton Chiles and well deserved recognition to those students for their work on combating lake pollution!
JC Penney adopts Lake Hollingsworth!
The Lakes & Stormwater Division would like to welcome the JC Penney team to the Adopt-A-Lake Program! JC Penney’s Adopt-A-Lake Volunteer team has adopted Lake Hollingsworth, and had their first clean-up on Saturday, April 11th. The team collected five huge bags of garbage from around the shoreline. Their efforts help to keep our lakes looking beautiful for our community to enjoy, and the water clean for our wildlife. Their efforts are very much appreciated!
If interested in being an Adopt-A-Lake Volunteer, please contact Laurie Smith of the Lakes & Stormwater Division at (863)834-6276 or email@example.com
