Current Lake and Stormwater Projects



The City of Lakeland encompasses an area of approximately 28,000 acres and contains 38 named lakes and numerous smaller lakes, ranging in size from 2.5 acres (Lake Blanton) to 2272 acres (Lake Parker). The City of Lakeland's Lake and Stormwater Division actively monitors water quality on 16 of the major lake systems for physical, chemical, bacteriological and biological parameters.

Click the name of the lake to view a brief overview and a summary of any projects associated with that lake. Funding for lake improvement projects is provided through the City’s Stormwater Utility and the Transportation Fund.
