Wood, Solid Waste Manager Jeffrey L. Wood is the Manager of Solid Waste for the City of Lakeland. Born in Providence, Rhode Island and educated in South Florida, Jeff brings to the City of Lakeland a diverse background dealing with solid waste issues. He is a professional "garbalogist" with over 30 years of experience managing multiple facets of the solid waste industry. His area of expertise is managing solid waste and recycling collection services. Jeff is responsible for ensuring timely solid waste and recycling services to all commercial and residential customers. Jeff's vision for the Solid Waste Division is to provide the citizens and businesses of Lakeland with efficient, cost effective and environmentally conscious solid waste collection services.
