LAKELAND, FL (October 31, 2018) - We are excited to announce the City of Lakeland has begun a data-sharing partnership with the Waze Connected Citizens Program (CCP). Waze is a GPS navigation mobile app that allows drivers to share real-time traffic and road information.

The City Commission voted 5-1 on Friday, October 26th at an 8 AM Special-Called City Commission Meeting to place former SW District Commissioner Don Selvage in the appointed position of interim Commissioner to serve in the seat of former Commissioner Michael Dunn.

LAKELAND, FL (October 22, 2018) | At approximately 3:15 PM, the City of Lakeland received a hand-delivered letter signed by Michael Dunn tendering his resignation as a Commissioner of the SW District of Lakeland effective October 20, 2018. City Attorney Tim McCausland said, "The resignation is effective upon receipt." The Lakeland City Commission will discuss the next steps and the process of replacing Dunn during a meeting on Friday, October 26th at 8 AM.
