LakelandPD Hosting Two Career Fairs In March


The Lakeland Police Department will host two career fairs during the month of March for anyone interested in an exciting and purpose-driven career in law enforcement. 

The first Career Fair, focused on Women in Law Enforcement, will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Community Room at the Lakeland Police Station, 219 North Massachusetts Avenue in Lakeland. At 6:00 p.m., there will be a panel discussion with some of our female officers who will share their personal experiences while serving in law enforcement and answer any questions from guests. A second Career Fair will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Lakeland Police Station, 219 North Massachusetts Avenue in Lakeland. This event will include opportunities for those interested in law enforcement or a civilian career in our 911 Emergency Communications Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with 911 Communications professionals and take a tour of the Emergency Communications Dispatch Center. (View event flyer) 

Recruiters and human resource professionals will also be on hand at both events to answer questions about the hiring process, benefits, academy sponsorships, training, and more!
