Public Notice: Emergency Water Main Repair - Northbound Lanes of South Florida Avenue
LAKELAND, FL (June 20, 2025) - City crews are currently on site responding to a significant water main break at South Florida Avenue and Ariana Street. The northbound lanes of South Florida Avenue are closed to all traffic while emergency repairs are underway.
Traffic is being detoured around the work zone via Ariana Street. The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 8 hours, pending the completion of repairs and inspection of the roadway.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, follow posted detour signs, and use alternate routes to minimize delays. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to restore full access as quickly and safely as possible.
