Book Pumpkin Contest 2026

Turn your favorite book into a pumpkin!

The book pumpkin decorating contest is back at the Lakeland Public Library!

Contest Details:

• Decorate a plastic pumpkin inspired by your favorite book or book character. (Use craft pumpkins only!)
• Bring your decorated pumpkin to the Youth Services Desk at the Lakeland Public Library
• Vote for best pumpkin online on our website (voting begins October 23rd).
• Must be 17 and under to enter.

Submit entries October 1 - October 22.

Vote for best pumpkin October 23 - October 29.

Three winners will be chosen on October 30th!
