iMS

iMS is the city’s new fully integrated online permitting and inspection system, allowing users to view, apply, schedule inspections, and pay fees for many permits and projects. It is linked to ePlan, allowing applicants to apply for their permit through iMS and then upload their signed and sealed plans through ePlan.

How iMS differs from eTRAKIT:

• You will need to register.

• User-friendly design.

• Homeowners can now apply for permits on desktop or mobile.

• You can apply, Pay, and schedule inspections on a mobile device.

• System has Google Translate.

• Lower transaction fee than card payments.

• Online application for new business tax receipts.

What has not changed:

• ePlan will remain the same.

In-person credit card payments no longer accepted as of January 18th.
