The City of Lakeland Lunch and Learn workshops with UF/IFAS Polk Extension have been rebranded to the Lakeland Learn and Grow workshop series. These classes are FREE and a great opportunity to learn all about gardening and landscaping topics rooted in Florida-Friendly Landscaping. The UF/IFAS Extension Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ (FFL) Program provides Polk County residents with information to help protect natural resources. Practicing the nine principles of FFL reduces your need for water, fertilizers, and pesticides, all while creating and maintaining a beautiful landscape.
