2023 LPD Career Academy

WHY: to offer interested students a one-week, hands-on course to learn about careers in law enforcement

WHEN: June 5 – June 9, 2023; 8am-5pm (lunch provided)

WHERE: Lakeland Police Department Training Center

WHAT: one-week of a hands-on, highly interactive program to expose high school students and college freshmen ages 15-18 to careers in law enforcement. Topics include, but are not limited to, crime scene, defensive tactics, traffic enforcement, SWAT/K9 demos, PT/physical training, team building, criminal investigations and more. WHY: to offer a FREE camp to high school students who may be interested in learning trades from industry professionals

WHEN: June 5 – June 16, 2023; 8am-5pm

WHERE: Tenoroc High School (4905 Saddle Creek Rd. Lakeland, FL 33801 )
