City of Lakeland and Polk County Impact Fee Schedules
Includes moratorium on County Impact Fees effective Aug 1, 2010 and extended to July 31, 2012.

Impact Fee Incentives:

Core Improvement Area Map & Impact Fee Exemptions
Effective January 2008. The Core Improvement Area allows for the exemption of all County and City impact fees, excluding water and wastewater.  The "Core" includes the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area (CRA), the Dixieland CRA and some portions of the Mid Town CRA including the Medical District, as well as all of Lakeland's designated Historic Districts.

Economic Development Impact Fee Mitigation Program
Effective November 2010. A reduction of impact fees to encourage job growth in targeted businesses.  The EDIFM encourages Build-To-Suit and Speculative Building Development.

Polk County Impact Fee Programs
Exemption, Reduction, and Deferral Programs of Polk County Impact fees.  (Note: There is a moratorium on County Impact Fees until July 31, 2012, except on the School Facilities Impact Fee.)
