Cops for Kids
Every year the Lakeland Police department has sponsored the Cops for Kids program.
This toy donation program, with the help of generous community donors, allows families to provide their children with a happy holiday. Gift donations for children up to 12 years of age are accepted. The gifts should be unwrapped and can be dropped off at the Lakeland Police Station. Cash donations are also accepted.

The Lakeland Police Department will be accepting applications for the 2022 Cops for Kids Toy Donation program for five select days beginning on October 26, 2022. Parents or guardians needing assistance must register at one of the locations listed below, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE LAKELAND ADDRESS.

- Wednesday, October 26 - Coleman Bush Building, 1104 MLK Jr. Ave.
- Thursday, October 27 – Simpson Park Complex, 1725 MLK Jr. Ave.
- Wednesday, November 2 – Lakeland Police Department, 219 N. Massachusetts Ave.
- Thursday, November 3 – Lakeland Police Department, 219 N. Massachusetts Ave.
- Monday, November 7 – Lakeland Police Department, 219 N. Massachusetts Ave.
- Current Lakeland Electric Utility Bill (Must have a Lakeland address)
- Photo ID
- Original Birth Certificate for Each Child (Children 12 and under are eligible)
Registration does not guarantee acceptance, and applicants must not have received assistance from the program for the past two years (2020 AND 2021).
